Fragments (27 May)

Dreamers cooed at rolling horizons
tamed only by distant sunsets:

their hours hold still while
we pack ours tighter into

zip-locked minutes in
little chambers, windows

so many pixels wide until
these blinkered boxes

and we go as the hours,
being only fragments.
